Information for PVC Pipe Produced by
North American Pipe
To Whom It May Concern:
North American Pipe Corporation produces
pipe to a multitude of industry standards
for applications in raw and potable water
transmission and distribution, reclaim
water transmission and distribution, sewage
collection and transmission, irrigation,
and drain/waste/vent systems. Approximately
98% of the rework material generated in
the production of these products is either
recycled in our own process or provided
to third parties for incorporation into
other goods.
The standards to which we produce and
the listing bodies that monitor the production
of these products (NSF, Underwriters Laboratories,
Factory Mutual, and IAPMO) prohibit the
incorporation of post-consumer recycled
material into our products. Clean
rework material from our own process is
allowed. This material is typically
less than 5% of the content in finished
products.
North American Pipe Corporation manufactures
PVC pipe in the following locations:
Booneville, Mississippi
Calvert City, Kentucky
Greensboro, Georgia
Janesville, Wisconsin
Leola, Pennsylvania
Litchfield, Illinois
Springfield, Kentucky
Wichita Falls, Texas Yucca, Arizona
PVC pipe is designed and manufactured
to have a useful life that surpasses 100
years. Because it will not corrode
or wear out it, replacement of the installed
product is generally only required when
the needs of the system exceed the designed
capacity.
